terms
7 days. then 18 usd a month or 79 a year.
same app. when it expires, it locks. no crippled mode.
what it is
almost empty measures how much of your ai plans you have used before you get cut off. it reads data that other tools already left on your machine. it does not replace their terms: claude, chatgpt, cursor and the rest still govern their own use.
the offer
- 7-day trial, with everything.
- then 18 usd a month, or 79 usd a year. same app, not a pro plan.
- 5 devices (macos, windows or ubuntu, mixed, once the binary exists).
- when it expires unpaid, it locks. there is no free single-device plan.
the devices and their readings
each device on your license reads the ai accounts signed in on that machine: almost empty does not share readings between devices nor are they sent to any server. if a provider throttles your requests —it is a limit on your own account, not the app's—, almost empty says so and keeps your last reading until it resets.
where it runs
macos 15 or later, today. windows and ubuntu, once the binary exists. those two are not sold yet: the code compiles, it hasn't been tested on a real machine, and we won't say it has until it is.
billing
paddle will be the seller and declares the vat. until it charges, payment is by email. no fake card window.
what it isn't
it is not a client for those ais. it doesn't open a new session or write to their files. it is not a claude or chatgpt plan. if they change their quota, almost empty shows the new one; it doesn't make it up.
